Durabak 18 is the same as the original polyurethane Textured (non-slip) protective coating, but with a UV protectant. Tough as nails, durable, and easy to apply, this version of Durabak is great for outdoor applications and those which will be in direct sunlight. Because of the UV protectant in Durabak 18, the color won't fade in the sun. Available in both Textured (non-slip) and smooth in a variety of colors, suited for your needs and style. Remember your project when picking colors, blue tones are cooler than yellow tone. Example the light grey is cooler on your feet than the white when your painting a sailboat or the upper deck of a family boat that have upper lounging areas.

Durabak 18 Can Be Repaired — Epoxies and Acrylics Cannot

Durabak 18 can be repaired when dinged, scratched, or gouged by a sharp object. Epoxy and acrylic surfaces will start to delaminate if something is dropped on them that dings, scratches, or gouges the surface — and they cannot be repaired.
